We're sorry Alec had to be away when you went to sleep, but you couldn't go on like that, not even for a few days.

I hope there are fish to chase, heaps of comfy spots for you to lie in and that there is plenty of sunshine for you to warm your beautiful golden fur in.
I'll remember your gorgeous brown eyes, your velvety ears, your tail that never stopped wagging. The way you puffed-up your cheeks and licked your lips three times when I rubbed you behind the ears or on the belly. Your amazing ability to fall asleep in a minute. Your wet nose that would flip-up my hand for a pat. Your rough paw pads against my palm.
I'm glad you finally get the sleep you were so longing for.
